Ibrahim was this weeks student of the week. Ibrahim did a great job this week in Team Teaching. He did great reporting and feedback on the Tablets. He made a great effort with his English and Irish spellings and especially his x7 tables. Great work Ibrahim!! Keep it up!

Congratulations to our amazing student of the week Tori! Tori is one of our best writers and she is very exited about starting to use joined writing in her copy! Tori has made huge progress in Maths learning about fifths and tenths and dividing by 5 and 10. Tori always tries her best and is a very good classmate to have in our class! Caoimhe Mooney is this week's student of the week! Caoimhe has made great progress the last few weeks especially in Gaeilge, she has learned lots of new frasaí and focail nua! She has done great work in Maths on length and the 9 times tables! Well done Caoimhe!! Keep up the good work!
John Ryan is this week's student of the week!
John wrote a fantastic fractured fairytale this week in English. He altered the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and made up his own plot! He even added in various farm animals just to completely change the story. John has done excellent work in Mrs Oakes English class also! GREAT work John! Keep it up!

Emilija has made huge progress this year and especially this week with her multiplying by 8 tables. She wrote a great description for a brand new car invention in English! Keep up the good work Emilija!!! We are very proud :-)

Jamie is this week's student of the week. Jamie tried very hard this week in his Free Writing copy with some excellent drawings of Pokémon. He did his job of 'football manager' brilliantly remembering to hold the ball carefully whilst walking into his line. GREAT JOB JAMIE!

Emilija is our second student of the week! Emilija did great work this week in Room 28! She was always ready to learn, with all her homework books out every morning. CONGRATULATIONS to our first student of the week in 2016, Justin Ajala! Justin made a special effort this week with keeping the class rules in mind. His homework was presented beautifully all week! 'Wanted' poster winners
We read 'The Diary of a Killer Cat' by Anne Fine in class. We made Wanted Posters for the main character, The Killer Cat himself- Tuffy.
Well done to Juwon, Olivia, Peter, Tori, Áine, Caoimhe, Alesia, Ava and Aaliyah. They were the best posters out of 30 children!!!Well done everyone!

Craig received a Most Improved Player award from his soccer team Grove Rangers. Craig plays on the U-11 team. We are very proud of his achievement and we hope he continues to work hard and improve! Great job Craig!
Ava was very busy in County Sligo on 17th September last at an an Irish Dancing Feis. Ava came 9th overall in her age group. That wasn't all! Ava also came 4th in the Heavy Jig and 5th place in her reel . Ava is competing this weekend in England and we wish her the very best of luck! Ava dances with David Moore School of Irish Dancing.
Jamie took home a very special medal recently from his GAA club- Wolftones where he received an award for being a valued member of his team. Jamie also earned a medal during The Wolftones Sports Day which took place 4th September 2016. Well done Jamie!
