Here in Room 28, we have a healthy eating policy. We realise that food fuels us for our school day and that without fuel, we simply cannot reach our full potential. Therefore, we try and eat a well balanced lunch everyday.

Fruity Friday
Olivia has cheese and a Frube yoghurt. Cheese and yoghurts give us calcium which is important for our growing bones! She also has brown bread. Brown bread is a carbohydrate which gives us lots of energy and by eating brown bread instead of white, Olivia is getting lots of fibre which will make her feel very full and help her to digest her food! Well Done Olivia!!
Alesia has a fruit-filled lunch box! We need fruit in our diet to help our growing bodies, and fruits and vegetables contain a LOT of vitamins, minerals and other healthy compounds. Oranges and strawberries help us stay healthy for longer because they have LOTS of vitamin C! We really enjoy strawberries, they taste amazing! Great Work Alesia!
